For staying healthy, good and proper health habit should be maintained. Germs are spread more easily from your hands than, say, your lips. When you have a cold, keep your hands clean and don’t worry about kissing someone. Wet clothes actually conduct heat away from the
body. So wearing it should be avoided. Chewing gum for more than 20 minutes a day stresses your jawbone, gums, and the biting surfaces of your teeth. However , chewing a stick of sugarless gum for a few minutes stimulates your saliva secretion and helps to clean your teeth. Brushing distributes protective and moisturizing natural oils along the whole length of the hair shaft. It also stimulates your scalp and removes loose scales. Poor posture can cause rounded shoulders, backaches, and swayback. It also may keep your internal organs from working properly. A public health service is developed to improve and protect community health, esp. sanitation, immunization, and preventive medicine. A balanced diet includes a mixture of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Sweets and fast foods usually contain too much carbohydrate and fat, and little of the fiber needed to keep the digestive system healthy. Fast food that does not contain fresh ingredients is often low in vitamins and minerals. The process of supplying the body with the nutrients (foods) it needs to stay alive is called nutrition. Eating a variety of foods(a balanced diet)is an important part of keeping healthy.

Increasing alkalinity is one of the best ways to increase our immune and stay health. Since the body is primarily made up of water, it makes sense that the water you drink should be as healthy as possible. It’s always a good idea to replace acidifying soft drinks, sodas and coffee with water. However, drinking alkaline water will provide many health benefits for your body that ordinary tap water or even bottled water cannot provide. Creating your own alkaline water at home can be one of the easiest ways of improving your health. Alkaline diets are a popular choice for people who want to achieve optimum good health. However, many people don’t actually understand this diet or how it works. The concept is actually fairly simple – the diet just focuses on regaining the balance that was lost when man started to eat a more domesticated diet. Instead of focusing on foods that are high in sugar, fat, and cholesterol, an alkaline diet primarily consists of fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy whole grains, wholesome protein sources such as soy, beans and legumes, and healthy oils such as canola, olive and flax seed. These foods may be either alkaline or acid in their natural state, but they all produce what is termed as an “alkaline ash” once digested and metabolized by the body. When the body’s pH is kept at a slightly alkaline level, all the systems can work more efficiently.

Among all the planets of the solar system, Earth is the only planet where life in all its forms thrives freely. One of the major reasons for this is the presence of a liquid that is indispensable for life on earth – water. Hence, the story of water is, in many ways, the story of life on earth. Almost every living organism is heavily dependent on water for more than 50% of its body weight. There are some very simple organisms that can exist without air – but none can exist without water! Water is the only substance that exists in all three forms – solid, liquid & gas. A molecule of water is made up of two atoms of hydrogen & one atom of oxygen. It is colorless, odorless & tasteless. It is called as the universal solvent because it dissolves more substance than any other liquid. Man uses water not only for drinking, but also for power, transportation, and irrigation. As modern technology demands more and more water, ways must be constantly devised to tap new resources and to make reusable the water man has polluted. Water is now more precious than ever before in history. Based on this growing demand for water, people have rightfully stated that water is the oil of the 21st century, and that the wars of this century will be fought over water.

Health, it’s the word that you should take care from the beginning. You should also stay healthy and forget about the word health and it should not cross or back track you. It’s in our hand to stay healthy.
When your cell phone runs low on power, you plug it in. Electricity is your phone’s source of energy. People need energy, too, but we can’t simply plug ourselves in to get it. Instead, we need food to fuel our bodies. Not all foods, however, give us the same energy. Some foods provide energy to think, form memories, and perform physical activities, while others only slow us down. The key is learning how to make the right decisions when choosing what to eat. The affluent lifestyle of people in rich countries can increase the risk of serious diseases. Heart disease, obesity (excessive storage of fat), and strokes (blood clots in the brain) are all more common in people who do little exercise or eat too much rich food. Health problems caused by tobacco, alcohol, and drug abuse are also common in rich countries. These World Health Organization figures show average life expectancy for babies born in 1999. The life expectancy of people living in the wealthy countries of the world is almost three times that of people in the poorest.
