All of you may probably have heard about a distant era in history called the Stone Age. It was indeed a stepping stone in man’s epic journey towards civilization. But this journey took giant strides when man discovered an important group of elements in nature – metals. When copper became part of primitive man’s life, the stone age faded into oblivion, and another important era was ushered in – the Bronze Age. This was followed by the Iron Age, when weapon sand tools came to be made of iron. For ages, metals have faithfully served humanity in all its Endeavor to conquer the elements, unravel the mysteries of nature, and build powerful machines and installations. It was the tempting glory of the yellow metal, gold, that led to numerous bloodshed in history. Metal alloys like steel have been an indispensable material in construction since the industrial revolution. If you look around you, you are sure to see something made of metal. It may be the key to your home, or a car on the road. But what exactly are metals? Pure metals are chemical elements or substances that cannot be broken down into other substances. There are more than 100 chemical elements& most of them are metals. Metals are used in hundreds of items from safety pins to planes, and they play an important role in our daily lives. Life would be very difficult without metals. Wouldn’t it?

Hi. Money is the word that gets everyone’s attention. Although we don’t think about its history and significance, everyone wants more of it! It is one of mankind’s greatest and most indispensable inventions, and has driven the course of history. Yes, we are speaking of money, which is anything (including coins& bank notes) that is used as a medium of account, a measure of value, a standard of payment, and a store of value. When a person says, “I have lots of money!” he is usually referring to his wealth in bank deposits, where no coins or notes are involved! ‘Money’ also refers to your potential to borrow money, and that’s what you do when buying something using a credit card. As a means of exchange, money must have a certain qualities. It must be difficult to fake, easy to carry, be divisible into small units, and has to be relatively scarce. Money, has we know today has evolved by a series of transitions. From shells and bones, to gold, silver, paper, plastic & electronic money, its story is wonderful. In olden times, before the invention of money, people got what they wanted by exchanging goods. This is known as Barter system. Every human are working for money. The love for money has developed many crimes, greed & hatred. So, priority given to money should be minimal to live a happy & safe life.
